Turkey Broth
- 32 Oz Chicken Broth
- 4 Cups Water
- 1 packet Giblets
- 2 Stalks Celery
- 1 small Onion
- 1 Tbsp Minced Garlic
- 1 tsp Thyme
- Take the giblets and chop up the neck, also, discard the liver
- Cook the giblets in a large pot for 5-10 minutes, turn occasionally to brown on all sides
- Chop up the onions and celery, add to the pot and cook for another 5-10 minutes until vegetables are translucent
- Add the garlic and thyme and mix
- Add the water and chicken broth and simmer for 45-60 minutes
- Strain the mixture and store the turkey broth, covered, in the fridge until needed
- If making gravy, save the strained vegetables and giblets for added flavor
