  • 1 Rutabaga
  • 1 Large Egg
  • 2 Oz. Shredded Cheese
  • To Taste Salt, Pepper, Onion Powder, Granulated Garlic
  • 2 Tbsp Bacon Grease
  1. Peel the turnip, cut into quarters and shred 4 oz of turnip, save the rest for either more hashbrowns or another recipe
  2. Combine Egg and cheese with turnips and mix
  3. Heat bacon grease in a skillet
  4. Add mixture, turning once
Note that most of the calories come from the bacon fat, so depending on how much you use or if you use a different type of oil, the nutrition info will change. I advise you to enter it in something like MFP to see what your exact version turns out to be.
